After a painful loss to the Chargers, I am looking forward to the home opener against the Chiefs.

HOMEBASE
The seventh grade will be focusing on assignment notebook completion in Homebase this year. We will continue to do silent reading on Thursday. The Homebase name we have chosen is Douvris' Dogs. We are working on our poster. Students are bringing in pictures of a dog from the Internet or a photo of themselves walking a dog. We will incorporate pictures we took at school in the poster.
Reading Period 1
We are currently working in a basil reading. Students will have homework daily.
Language Arts
Students will be doing spelling weekly. Each week a unit and sentences will be due on Friday. Spelling pretests will be on Thursday. If students get an "A" on Thursday, they do not have to take the test on Friday. They may get the opportunity to give the test to the rest of the class.
Co-taught Math Period 3
We are currently working in Chapter one. Test Friday, Quiz Thursday.
