Luckily for Nate the Packers and the Bears won this week. Nate is a Packer fan, and enjoys sporting green and gold daily. He has agreed to wear a Bear jersey the week the Packers lose. (perhaps next week :) To prepare he tried on the Bear colors!! Doesn't he look awesome? If the Pack wins and the Bears lose, the class has agreed to wear green the following Monday. Go Bears, go!
Homebase: We continue to work on our poster. Thursday will be silent reading day. Bring something to read!
Language: This week we are in lesson 4 of spelling. I encourage students to study a few words each day (3) rather than all 20 the night before a test. Last week we did two ISAT writing prompts. Students are learning to incorporate specific details from stories into their writing.
Reading: Students will have reading homework daily. I am giving them time daily to note it in their assignment notebook. Late work results in a loss of 20 points.
